Graduate Business Internship Course

The graduate business internship course (MGT 5395) is approved on a case-by-case basis for MBA students and students in other business graduate programs. It provides three (3) hours of elective credit. Internships at your current employer require additional documentation and are only approved if specific criteria are met.

• You must be in good academic standing with a graduate GPA of at least 3.0.
• At the time your internship begins you must have completed at least nine (9) hours toward your graduate degree. If you hold a BBA or other business undergraduate degree this requirement may be reduced to six (6) hours. You may not complete an internship in your first semester in any case.
• You may not enroll in more than two (2) additional courses while you are performing your internship.
• Your internship must provide a minimum of 200 documented work hours.
• If you are an international student, please review the Curricular Practical Training (CPT) requirements.
