Summer 2024
Program Overview
The Business Around the World program is a virtual around-the-world online learning experience taking place in Summer 2024. Students will have a chance to experience the cultures of five different countries – Brazil, France, Germany, South Africa, and Taiwan.
The six-credit-hour program includes online cultural experiences, guest speakers, and other learning experiences all from the comfort of home.

Course Offerings
Students will complete Business Communication (MGT 3353) and Effective Teams and Groups (MGT 4390T) during the course of the virtual abroad experience.

- Summer II Semester: July 1 - August 2
Costs
The cost for this program is the same as the standard tuition for two courses (six credit hours). There are no additional fees for any of the virtual components.
Program Faculty
MARK EVANS, SCMP, is a faculty member in Texas State University’s management department, where he serves as curriculum coordinator for business communication. He has previously taught business communications at The University of Texas at Austin and media writing at Texas A&M University.
When not teaching, he serves as a public relations/strategic communications consultant to clients in a wide variety of industries. For the past 20 years, Mark has been heavily involved in the International Association of Business Communicators in a wide variety of leadership roles, working alongside business communicators around the globe.
