Program Overview
McCoy College of Business graduate programs alumni are invited to join us September 2024 in Germany for our McCoy College Global Upskilling Program. Specially designed for alumni of all McCoy graduate programs who value lifelong learning and desire an unique professional development experience. In this program, upskilling sessions and business visits will be the highlight of the week as we visit headquarters of companies such as Mercedes, SAP, and Bosch as well as startup companies and other hidden champions. The trip will also incorporate cultural excursions and exceptional cuisine and is a great opportunity to network with fellow Bobcats.
All graduate programs alumni (and a spouse/partner/approved guest) of the McCoy College are welcome to participate, but space is limited. Register now and make sure to act quickly to secure your spot. The deadline for registration is Friday, May 24.

Itinerary
- September 27, 2024: Depart from Austin
- Sept. 28 - Oct. 4: Pforzheim
- Oct. 4 - Oct. 6: Munich
- Oct. 6: Return and Arrival to Austin
Cost
- $5,900 per person (single occupancy, includes roundtrip airfare from Austin, TX, and transportation to/from the airport in Germany)
- $3,800 per person (single occupancy, without roundtrip airfare included)
**Double occupancy reduces the cost by $600 per person.**

Upskilling Workshops
Monday, September 30
Doing Business in Europe/Germany: Understanding Culture, Recognizing Markets, Building Business Successfully
In this workshop, participants will be able to recognize the complexity of European and German culture, understanding the differences between countries and regions. Special emphasis will be put in the identification of business opportunities in different markets and industries for Texas companies to potentially tap into. Participants will also discuss key challenges and opportunities for further commercial transatlantic cooperation and corresponding solutions.

Navigating Future Skills: Maintaining Competitiveness in the Age of Artificial Intelligence
In this workshop, participants will gain an understanding of the evolving landscape of future skills in the context of rapid technological advancements, particularly in Artificial Intelligence (AI); recognize the importance of developing adaptable skills to remain competitive; explore strategies for acquiring and honing future skills to meet the demands of AI-driven industries; and discuss the implications of AI on various sectors and the potential opportunities it presents for individuals and businesses.

Unleashing Creative Transformation: The journey of a Hidden Champion
In this workshop, participants will embark on a transformative journey of creative exploration and innovation, guided by a hidden champion (Witzenmann) in the realms of business and design thinking. This dynamic session is designed to ignite participants' creativity, enhance design thinking abilities, and equip them with the tools to recognize and capitalize on market opportunities across diverse industries.
