Patrick Terry and Kathy Terry

Patrick and Kathy Terry are the co-founders of P. Terry's Burger Stand, established in 2005, at the corner of South Lamar and Barton Springs in Austin, Texas.

Patrick realized his childhood dream of creating a classic burger stand, which was inspired by the famous Mack Eplen’s in Abilene, Texas. Additionally, Kathy's reading of Fast Food Nation further motivated the couple to prioritize quality food and exceptional service in their venture. Their commitment to fresh, all-natural ingredients and genuine hospitality has been a cornerstone of P. Terry's success, reflecting their dedication to providing a better fast-food experience.

Kathy and Patrick have a heart for philanthropy, and giving back has always been a core principle of their business model. Through their stewardship, the restaurant chain has donated over $1.7 million to date, all benefiting local nonprofits.

With thirty-five P. Terry’s locations and counting, there’s no denying that Kathy and Patrick have helped change the way Austinites do “fast casual.”
