Jeff Cuban received both his bachelor’s degree and master’s degree from Southwest Texas State University.

After a brief stint as a school psychologist in North Texas, Jeff leveraged his psychology background to transition into technology sales, culminating with employment at Cisco Systems.  Subsequently, in 2001 Jeff took on roles in launching and running the first all high-definition national television network, known as HDNet/AXS TV/HDNet Movies; the largest chain of art house movie theatres in the country, Landmark Theatres; as well as one of the most prestigious independent feature film studios and distributors, Magnolia Pictures, which releases approximately 25 films a year and has a library of over 10,000 films. He was instrumental not only in the integration, operations, and financial performance of these entities but also in the outright sale of both HDNet/AXS TV and Landmark Theatres.

In addition, Jeff has sat on a variety of boards, ranging from the Dallas Mavericks Foundation to Beatbox Beverages.  He prides himself in leveraging his experiences to offer guidance and support to start-ups as well as more mature companies.

Jeff's current role is Chief Operation Officer for Mark Cuban Companies, which includes engagement and support for any and all entities in which Mark Cuban has an interest.
