Meagan McCoy Jones

Meagan McCoy Jones is a 2000 graduate of San Marcos Baptist Academy, a 2004 graduate of the University of Richmond in Virginia — where she was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa — and a 2006 graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. Her master’s degree is in communication studies.

Meagan is the fourth generation to work for McCoy’s Building Supply. Her first job was serving as the receptionist at the company’s headquarters. (She was 10 years old!) Meagan grew up at McCoy’s and worked as an advertising intern, salesperson, assistant store manager, director, Vice President of Field Support, and Senior (then Executive) Vice President prior to becoming President and Chief Operating Officer. In 2022, she was named President and CEO.

Meagan is a member of the Board of Directors of McCoy Corporation, a partner in McCoy Remme Ranches, a member of the Board of Directors of the Texas Association of Builders, and the Co-Chair of the Legislative Committee of the Lumbermen’s Association of Texas. She is also a member of the Greater San Marcos Partnership, working on issues related to development, conservation, and affordable housing. Further, she is a former board member and passionate supporter of Mobile Loaves & Fishes, a social outreach ministry that empowers communities into a lifestyle of service with the homeless.

Meagan is married to Richard Jones, and they have two children. ✯
